Ohren Auf Studio (OAS) is an international sound production studio based in Berlin and Shanghai, specializing in original music, sound design, and spatial audio technologies. We view sound as a medium that connects narrative, space, and emotion, combining creativity with technical expertise to deliver comprehensive audio solutions for multidimensional media experiences.
Our studio is located at the Funkhaus Music & Media Center in Berlin, with the Shanghai team providing cross-regional support to ensure seamless collaboration between Europe and Asia.
Our team comprises experienced composers, sound designers, and engineers from Asia and Europe, with diverse backgrounds in independent film scoring, game music, and interactive sound art installations. We focus on the structure, dynamics, and texture of sound, delivering each project with meticulous workflow and a global perspective, providing clients worldwide with professional, highquality audio work.

aka Temple Rat
Composer / Curator / Founder of Ohren auf Studio
Having a Chinese classical music background, Mei is learning Erhu since her early childhood, she is also Lead composer with 7+ years’ experience in advertising, film, and gaming projects. Credits include Louis Vuitton, Versace, Hermès, FENDI, Audemars Piguet, Paris Fashion Week, and films etc.
Konstantin Heuer
Composer / Producer / Educator
With a masters in classical music composition from the University of Music and Performing Arts Stuttgart, Konstantin specializes in scoring chamber and orchestral pieces for mixed electronic/acoustic settings and produces dark garage infused hypnotic techno.
Haraldur Thrastarson
Sound Designer / Composer
Originally from Iceland and based in Berlin, Haraldur Thrastarson is an experienced composer and sound designer working across film, television, and commercial media, He has contributed to multiple Netflix productions, combining detailed sound design and musical composition to craft emotionally immersive sonic worlds.
Alongside his role at OAS, Haraldur runs his own practice Studio T/A, focusing on immersive audio design for AI-driven media, exploring the intersection of technology, perception, and storytelling.
Giulio Perinello
Mixing & Sound Engineer
Giulio Perinello is a musician, producer, sound engineer, and Ableton Live Certified Trainer. A graduate of Italy’s APM Institute in Music Production and Composition.
At OAS, he works at Ohren auf ! Studio creating and mixing music for commercials, films, fashion shows, and brand events. His cinematic yet modern sound has been featured in projects for brands such as Adidas, Li-Ning, Champion, Biotherm, Bose, Xiaomi, Huawei, Oppo, Ferrari, Porsche, Volkswagen, and Rolls-Royce.
Nino Theys
Sound Designer / Composer
Based in Berlin, Nino Theys is a French sound artist, composer, and sound designer working across contemporary art, film, and experimental performance.He is skilled in sound composition, spatial audio design, and the creation of interactive installations that merge sound, movement, and space into immersive experiences.
Nino’s recent collaborations include projects with artist Julian Charrière, such as Chorals at Ruinart and Midnight Zone, presented at Ruinart (Reims), Tinguely Museum (Basel), Perrotin Gallery (Tokyo), and MHNCA (Mexico City).
