Temple Rat is a Berlin-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose sound is defined by the seamless fusion of traditional Chinese instrumentation and forward-thinking electronic production.

Drawing from her deep roots as a classically trained musician and her immersion in the Berlin underground, she has carved a unique space in the contemporary scene through cinematic performances at venues like Berghain, RSO, and Boiler Room.

Following the success of her EP < The Composition of Air > on Siamese Twins Records, she is set to release her highly anticipated new EP < Some Leaves Must Fall 聽其⾃然 > on Buttheads in 2026. Utilising field recordings and self-built sound design, Temple Rat turns every set into a transportive, cross-cultural experience.
