Temple Rat is a Berlin-based composer, multi-instrumentalist, and producer whose sound is defined by the seamless fusion of traditional Chinese instrumentation and forward-thinking electronic production.

Drawing from her deep roots as a classically trained musician and her immersion in the Berlin underground, she has carved a unique space in the contemporary scene through cinematic performances at venues like Berghain, RSO, and Boiler Room.

Following the success of her EP Composition of Air on Siamese Twins Records, she is set to release her highly anticipated new EP, Some Leaves Must Fall 聽其⾃然, on Buttheads in February 2026. Utilising field recordings and self-built sound design, Temple Rat turns every set into a transportive, cross-cultural experience.
